GOOD FRIDAY

The Good Friday services will take place live on every campus on Friday, April 18, at these times and locations. We will consider the question, “Why follow Jesus?”

  • 5:00 PM at Rolling Meadows, Crystal Lake, and North Shore
  • 6:00 PM at Elgin, Chicago Cathedral, and Aurora
  • 7:00 PM at Rolling Meadows, Crystal Lake, and Online
  • Spanish translation will be available in Elgin at 6:00 PM and in Rolling Meadows at 7:00 PM.
Harvest Kids
  • Rolling Meadows | 6-month-olds—5-year-olds at the 5:00 PM service
  • Elgin | 9-month-olds— 3-year-olds
  • Crystal Lake | 6-month-olds—5-year-olds at the 5:00 PM service
  • Chicago Cathedral | children in the service with their family
  • Aurora | babies through 5-year-olds
  • North Shore | details to come

EASTER WEEKEND

Then, we turn from reflection to celebration on Easter weekend as we meet together live in these locations at these special times.

Sunday, April 20

  • 9:00 AM at Elgin (Easter only) and Crystal Lake
  • 10:00 AM at Rolling Meadows, Chicago Cathedral, Aurora, North Shore, Harvest en Español in Rolling Meadows, and Online
  • 11:00 AM at Elgin (Easter only), Crystal Lake

Community Group Outreach/Service Ideas

Create homeless blessing bags together, distribute to homeless outreach in area or keep in your car to give out.  

Serve at The Ruth Project either downtown Elgin or at the farm 

Serve together at Feed My Starving Children 

Contact campus ministry team to “adopt” a single mother in the congregation, and provide her with ongoing support (babysitting, groceries, gifts of encouragement)  

Contact local elementary/middle/high school and ask to provide regular blessing baskets to teachers   

Contact local senior/assisted living facility and offer to host a praise and worship night or ongoing Bible study 

Serve at local soup kitchen
